5 Steps to Perfection
Below is a guideline is followed strictly by Xillent. It is the nucleus to the project's success and assures that the project will be on time and within budget.

Note: Projects are developed in teams of two. The project leader and developer will be determined at the time we enter the project into our workflow system. The project manager is responsible for the project's performance and reports to the client.

Phase 1 - Quoting

The quote will be written as a PDF file and sent to the client. Under special circumstances quotes may be mailed. After a quote is accepted and the client has signed the Standard Client Agreement (SCA), the customer will deposit a down-payment.

Phase 2 - Project Preparation

After the (SCA) has been signed, the project officially begins.

Project Overview and Timeline: Xillent will develop a detailed and accurate timeline with progress milestones. The milestones are to be reviewed by the client. Within each milestone, daily requirements will be drafted. These requirements must be reviewed periodically and will be adjusted accordingly.

Marketing: Let's discuss the importance of online-marketing activities. It is better for the client to build a project with a guide of marketing related requirements than to implement marketing-related changes at the very end of the project.

Design: Xillent will prepare up to two design drafts. Alternatively, the client may submit a design that had been pre-developed or pick a standard design from our template database.

Content: Pictures and media content that are required for the project such as headers, posters and video files must be provided before we enter Phase 3 of the project.

Phase 3 - Development

Xillent will create a document for the client that includes the project milestones and daily work requirements.

After the first HTML template has been developed, the programmer will be required to test for full compatibility of the following browsers before continuing the coding process:
- IE6, IE7, IE8
- Firefox 3.0
- Safari (latest release)

Test results will be documented and must not continue to the next step until the compatibility check has been completed successfully.

Phase 4 - Project Completion

This phase includes the final testing according to the client's specifications. After stability and performance have been tested, the project will be released and moved to the production server.

Xillent grants 30 days of free tech support after phase four.

Phase 5 - Online Marketing/Maintenance/Continued Improvements

After the project has been completed, online marketing is the next step. A marketing plan or strategy is executed according to the client's needs.
